KofC ST. JOHNS COUNCIL 1622 DONATES COATS FOR KIDS

These funds from St. John's Council were collected primarily from generous donations by parishioners at St. John the Evangelist Church in Frederick, MD, during our recent "For the Kids" fund drive directed by Council Past Grand Knight Rick Casazza. These "For the Kids" funds provided 113 coats to school children. Brother Michael Jacobs reports that the overall Seton Chapter effort this year collected $16,331 from multiple councils which provided a total of 775 coats to needy students in Western Maryland.
Note that St. John's Council 1622 also separately donated $2500.00 to the Cross Catholic Outreach Missionaries in Guatemala as part of our recent combined "For the Kids" campaign.
